Hello all...I've been trying to fill in some gaps and was wondering if 10/22/71 Chicago and 10/26/71 Rochester are still in or ever were in circulation. Would appreciate any info.Thanks.

They have never been commercially released. I believe they both were broadcast on FM at the time. If anyone has these I would be interested in working a trade.....I stand corrected on 10/26...see below.

10/22/71 Auditorium Theatre, Chicago (the second of two shows) appears not to be in circulation. I have never seen a copy of it, and there are no show details for it on db.etree.org (though there is a listing for it there). Here's the link:

http://db.etree.org/lookup_show.php?shows_key=722

DeadBase lists only the second set for this show. Here's a link:

http://www.dharmarose.com/deadbase/dbquery110.php3?id=698

Same is true for DeadLists. Here's the link:

http://www.deadlists.com/default.asp

A fellow named Tom Buckley (don't know him) has the most extensive Grateful Dead list I've ever seen, and even he doesn't have 10/22/71. Here's the link:

10/26/71 The Palestra, U. Rochester was released by GDP as Digital Download Series Volume Three. Unfortunately, it appears that Rhino has temporarily suspended sales of shows in that Series. I hope I am mistaken.

Sorry the news was not better; hope the information was helpful nonetheless.

Best,

You can still get it through iTUNES. They don't have all of the download material, but I'm sure that MOST of them are there. If you don't subscibe to it, have an iPOD, etc, I'm sure that someone who does could help you out.

You can get the download series (including 10.26.71) from iTunes.
